Little Lucid Moments

Wie gehts?

There has been great response to the Motorpsycho-quiz, and more than 300 people have answered up till now. The deadline for the “competition” is October 1st. We haven’t checked your answers yet, but the winners will be announced quite soon afterwards. In the meantime I will once more urge you to send your playlist to me, and that means especially you my foreign friends. Become a curator of the music in the exhibition Supersonic Scientists! http://supersonicscientists.rockheim.no/en/playlists/

Innkjøp og donasjoner registreres. Uta Freia Beer fotograferer.

The opening night draws closer, and it has already been revealed that Trondheim Bassorkester will play some Motorpsycho-songs that evening. This orchestra is made up of quality students from the Department of Music at NTNU and is led by the mighty Michael Duch. Yes, there will be contrabasses! By looking at the selection of songs I think we also can expect both glockenspiel and familiar guest voices as well. And there will be more things happening this night, so buy your ticket now! The opening party will be followed by three nights of Motorpsycho performing Demon Box, the concerts which of course are by long time sold out.

During the exhibition period we have planned several special tours in the exhibition by curator Synnøve Engevik. In November there will also be a special evening at Rockheim Scene where Theremin will be the main theme. Helge Sten and Lars Erik Melhus will educate us in the strange and wonderful world of Theremin by conversation, lecture and demonstration.

Other events will be announced on Rockheims homepage and on Facebook. An oddball aspect of the public program could be a reality on Saturday October 17., yes on the very same day as the first of the Demon Box concerts. If you meet up outside of Rockheim at 2 PM you could take part in a walking tour on the east side of Trondheim, where we will look at some important geographical spots in the history of Motorpsycho, and maybe enjoy a beer/tea at the Svartlamon-pub Ramp afterwards, shall we?

Temperaturer og luftfuktighet i utstillingslokalene blir behørig overvåket og registrert slik at også de utstilte gjenstandene skal få det best mulig i utstillingsperioden.
Temperature and humidity are being monitored and registered to make sure that also the exhibited objects will have a good time at the exhibition Supersonic Scientists.
